late night snack

I was taught that after you finish your dinner you could have a small treat. Like splitting a chocolate 3 ways. Very normal thing for my family. So, today since I got a LOT done, I am treating myself to some Blog Time! yes, go ahead and look at the time, it's 12:35am.

Not a lot of words, just photos:

And last but never least....8 days, NO 7 days now, until Farmboy comes home. We are thrilled!

My side

If you wonder where we've been it's my fault! We have been in and out of town this month. But I believe that that's the way summer should be. This last weekend was My Side family reunion.

We couldn't all be there together at the same time, but most of us found a way to be there for a night or two. We are a crazy bunch.

here are some things we did:

We ate a ton! We each made our own homemade pizza. Delish!

We played games. Did a craft. This year's craft was decorating glasses. It was FUN! If you need an idea for kids this is a great one. Adults loved it too! {see top picture}
Photobucket

We went swimming a ton!

We played the fish pond game. And ate popsciles {you can see the leftovers on his face}

We celebrated pioneer day with bonnets and fireworks.

Reunion Pictures

It's all about Family

We are back from Colorado. It's great to be home, but it's hard to beat this kind of fun...

{Garden of the Gods; Colorado Springs}

Birthday gifts, swings & one mean kick ball game.

Cutest little Family!
Games Galore:

Everybody loved Emi. She loved being held by all the cousins, aunts, & uncles!

Kissing Camels {Garden of the Gods} These 2 love birds are getting married in November. Gotta love being engaged.

All because 2 people fell in love.

Grandma & Grandpa Great F's posterity (at least some of us).

So many pictures...so little space!

Where to start? We had heaps of fun yesterday. Out of 150 + pictures, I chose a few of my favorites to sum up the reunion.

The day began with Food of course! Then--it was on to face painting. Some people got a little out of hand...

Then an indoor craft--Such cute visors. What a genius idea Auntie M!

Looks like Uncle R-D & Aunt Lala are having twins... Uncle Bishop & Aunt CC...Little Me & Lovin'H did a special Nonna skit, "Nonna Queen...young & sweet...only in her 70's"

Chi! Sweet boy. So happy to be with everyone.

Then the water started---& EVERYONE (except Farmboy who was in the house making ice cream) was soaked thanks to those yahoos.

A very rare smile from Baby O. Lovin' the swings.

Who can blow the biggest bubble?....Smarty K is definitely the winner. Sorry Aunt CC.

Hard to tell who won the watermelon spitting contest...Uncle L the great "claimed" it was him.

Here's my favorite picture of the day. Cousin piggies. What a day! Thanks to everyone who made it fun. . Thanks to Nonna for bringing us all together. (We missed Uncle Queeze & family).

The day ended with Food as well...
(Thanks to Farmboy for the Yummiest homemade ice cream ever!)
