Last night, between making dinner & doing yet another load of laundry, I completed this bad boy! The love that this little boy has for cars is unreal.

This boy's love of trucks & cars is so great that I'd like to relate a little story---a little character building lesson from our trip to Colorado:
It's starts with this little Truck...

HY found this truck almost immediately when we arrived at Lise's house. He fell in love with it for all the obvious reasons. Some of the other not so obvious reasons are that this car has parts that actually work (not a working motor)---doors, hood....etc. Well, due to some 2 year old tendancies, this truck had a few body problems. "Broken" as HY calls it. So, what's a parent to do? Lucky for us, there was a store name & city on the bed of the truck. So, we drove about an hour to track down it's twin. When we arrived this is what we found...

Tractors galore! Once again....this little boy is in heaven. Thankfully, he can't actually pick these up & throw them. Anyway--back to the story. Farmboy goes in & asks if they have another truck that we can purchase. The man reluctantly tells us that that particular "Limited Edition" was a gift to preferred customers about 8 years. BUT...he goes to check & see if there isn't ONE left....And here's what he found...
So there you have it! It pays to do the right thing. You may be asking how much this particular character building experience cost us... Well, the man gave it to us for free just because we drove all the way out there to replace one that our son had broken. I'm writing that company a nice letter of thanks.
