2009: Here I come!

Last year I started a new tradition. And not only did it stick, but it was & still is my word & saving grace every moment of every day. But, I'm going to add to my hope with my new 2009 word:

EXTEND!

I'm going to extend myself to others. I'm going to extend my talents, dreams, hopes, & wishes. I will extend mercy to those I love. I'm going to extend a helping hand where I see a need. I will extend my circle of friends. I will extend my faith in God & in His miracles. I will extend a listening ear. I will extend my time to include those I love. I will extend my experiences. EXTEND.

So to start off the year right, I did something that I've never done before. Snowshoeing!
And wouldn't you know it, I had a GREAT time.

2007 Review

Here's a page I did a few months back but just completed today. Probably better since I didn't have all the photos I needed at the time. It started out being a Christmas Card & then I changed my mind & felt like the pictures would be just too small for a 5x6 card. Pretty sure I made the right decision. But, I still love the idea of this LO. I love looking back on the year in 12 simple photographs. What a year---2007! Hello 2008!

It's MY word

HOPE

I never --ever-- make New Year's Resolutions. But this I can do. Here's my word for the year.

HOPE that my husband's new job will stick, HOPE that I'll be more patient through afflictions, HOPE that I'll see the bigger picture in life. HOPE that my kids will see the real me, the happy me. HOPE that I'll be who I really am supposed to be. HOPE that when I wake up in the morning, I'll ask my Father in Heaven for help instead of doing it alone. HOPE that He'll help.

So that's my word. This year, I'm gonna be good at HOPE.
