This week's finds

Photobucket

I promise that I am no genius when it comes to coupons. I just do what this lady tells me. And look at what I found. Savings that I think even my mother- in- law would be impressed by!

I don't mean to brag but...

Well, yes I do. My last 3 visit to Target have consisted of this:

Photobucket

Total Cost before coupons: $117.00
After Coupons: $31.00

And I walked away with 3 FREE $5 gift cards.

3 pkg diapers 2 for new baby and 1 for Mini-E for night time.
2 Gillette Razors Farmboy has been asking for these to take into the Army
2 Venus Razors payment for my 2 nieces for babysitting for free all the time
2 Olay body wash came free with Razors
3 Travel Card Games b-day gifts for nieces and nephews
2 Candy bags for me .24 a piece

Now I know this doesn't look like a ton, but diapers and razors are pricey items so keep that in mind. I'm stocking up for Diapers so if you know of any other great deals, please let me know.

Every once in a while I check out this site for good deals. Just had to share my great finds.
Impressed?

Oh heads up for all you Utah people: Free Trax day is THIS FRIDAY the 12th!

If you can dream it "Friday"

Okay, I am definitely reconsidering calling this day: "Go shopping with Nonna 'Friday'!" That seems to be the trend. I can tell you that the best thing in decorating is the MOTHER! My mother is awesome. She has great decorating ideas and she is so sweet to treat me to something that will make my new home look fabulous.

Today we got up early (if you can call 6:30am early) and went up to a decorator's dream sale. Every so often they take all the items from the model homes at Richmond America and sell them at very discounted prices. Sounds fun huh? Well, it was. You kind of have to be there early and move fast or you miss the good stuff. We got some awesome things. Here's my mother's day gift: HY's new bedroom comforter/pillows/duve.

Here's HY waiting patiently in the check-out line with his new backpack ($2) and Aunt CC's suitcase. Well, at least we know he's ready to travel. That's my boy.
Thanks to Nonna for making Friday's so much fun. We even got a special breakfast at IHOP after we were all done.

Strawberries anyone?

Today I found a great deal at Peterson's. A case of strawberries (8lbs) for $4.99!!! Horray for me. Well, I can't take all the credit. My sister, Aunt CC, called to let me know about the deal---and would I get her some. So there I am with 2 kids in the basket loading up NINE cases of strawberries. This picture is of my sister's lute. I only got 2 cases for myself. I guess that means that we'll be having homemade Zuccas the rest of the summer. I'd say that we'd make strawberry jam, but we just made a bunch of rasberry jam last week. I'm all jammed out. Anyone want a strawberry?
