If you can dream it Friday

Can you imagine having the ability to fly anywhere you want, any time? It would be nice. Well, last night Farmboy & I got pretty close to that dream. Now before you all freak out, look at the picture below, and think that we bought a plane (never gonna happen)--let me just say that we did have a chaparone. Farmboy has been taking flying lessons & I figured, why should he have all the fun. So I did what any good wife would do...I tagged along. On a night flight of all things. It was AWESOME! The city below was beautiful. I have a greater respect for pilots & all the MILLIONS of things that they are doing while also flying a plane. And although, we weren't sitting next to each other (because there was a flight instructor)...it was actually one of the more romantic "dates" we've been on in a while.
Thanks Farmboy!...for showing me the town from a different angle. (And thanks to Nonna & Runnie's family for watching the sleeping yahoos--couldn't have gone without your help). And for all those worriers out there: I made Farmboy sign a tentative "Last Will & Testiment" before bording the aircraft.

Les Mis?

I know that some of you are wondering where the pictures are from our fabulous Les Mis date (& some of you don't know WHAT I am talking about). Well, I didn't take even ONE picture. I figured that asking Farmboy to sit through 3 hours of constant singing (to which he said, "when are they going to start talking...?") was enough torture. Asking for a picture would have been a bit much. He's not a fan of having his picture taken. So, I settled for a wonderful evening with out the yahoos (thanks to Aunt CC & kids), dinner & a show! Can't ask for much more than that.

And Yes, I CAN go on a date without my Dad. Wish he could have been there tho, he'd have loved it.

Can you hear the people sing?

One of my all time favorites! Absolutely incredible. Inspiring! Tonight, Farmboy and I are going to see this....

It doesn't get any better than this. I am so excited! I haven't seen it in years and Farmboy has NEVER seen it. When I was a kid, I wanted to be Cosette. And then when I got older, wanted to try out for Eponine. Obviously, I never did either.

We ordered the tickets months ago and said that this would be our Anniversary gift to each other. I'm actually gonna dress up and look nice for once this month. And for a great purpose.
