...we celebrated Joseph Smith's retreval of the "Golden Plates" on Sept. 22, 1827. This is the 2nd year that we have celebrated this event with Grandad Grey in Midway. Here are some shots of our kids finding the "Golden Plates."

We always have so much fun in Midway--especially when we get to see our family!

What a great idea and family tradition!! What a great way to teach the kiddos! Love the fall leaves. We were just in your neck of the woods and did not have a chance to drive up a single canyon and check out leaves. I was kinda bummed about that.
